For me there is onlya stigma in bankruptcy if the person or instition, which is running in bankruptcy, starts new after it and is doing the same mistakes again.

You know, some do not learn their lesson and in this cases bankruptcy has a stigma for me.

For these, who see a new beginning after getting through bankruptcy and trying to do their best to not get into it again, I see no stigma at all.

It is just a given chance...

I agree, the stigma is still attached to it because of less information regarding the process. Maybe it will help if the person facing a financial difficulty will understand the real purpose of bankruptcy and see if it fits to their current situation.
