This is really so frustrating. Our electrical utility has spent a ton of money telling everyone to conserve. Well, you know what? We have, and now they're raising the rates. The reason? People aren't using as much electricity as before so they have to raise the rates to get more revenue. The result? We're using less electricity and paying more money. This is insane!

I know the feeling. It is so unfair on our part because electric is a necessity and even if we are protesting on the increase we are still going to pay for it. It is indeed frustrating.

Really frustrating but if we are willing to file a petition for the increase then I think they will give an explanation for it. For the meantime all we can do is to minimize consumption in order to save.

I think getting a petition going would be a good idea. It certainly can't hurt. The problem in my area is that so many people think it won't do any good. I however, am personally sick of being ripped off by the electric company.
