Where did you learn about stuff like how to balance your check book, selecting a good bank, etc? Did you learn this from your parents, friends or school?

i learned on my own. my parents don't really have time to share to me the right way to handle finances.

FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCES AND FROM PEOPLE AROUND ME. PEOPLE WHO HAVE INFLUENCED ME AND INSPIRED ME IN A WAY THAT MADE ME A BETTER PERSON.

From my mentor that was a family friend. He is a businessman and I truly admired his way of making money. He shares to me the ups and downs of his business and that someday I will be able to apply those lessons on my own life.

i can relate to this. i also have a boss who is so rich and his life story is from "rags to richness" kind of thing. it is very inspiring to know that these people had overcame poverty and difficulty because of perseverance and discipline.

I think I've learned it from the experiences that I encounter. I always try to see the lessons learned after a certain circumstance and make some new ways to handle finances effectively.
