don't be too materialistic if you can not afford it. that is just the basic thing to do in order to have enough savings.

For me, I think I have to look for a part time job to increase income and savings as well. It is easy to determine the want from the need but it is hard to control from spending over the want.

This I need to perfect because I need to be really thrift for I have 5 boys and all are still studying. I need to budget my salary for the family for my husband has no permanent job.
