Opening of Bank Account? 1 Year, 1 Month ago

Hello There!
I went to a HSBC Branch in Town yesterday, at about 16:00 to open up an Account for me. They said they'll send me a letter within two working days saying that my account is open. So does that mean I will get that letter from them tomorrow?
I'm just really worried about when I'll get the letter.
Thanks.

I do not understand : when you go to the bank and fill the opening form and pay the CASH, they will open the account, give the account number & etc: why they delay? you might have not submitted relevant documents, introduction and etc

I don't understand it either, accounts are usually opened instantly.
Anyway, two working days means two working days from the day you went in. They usually mean two whole days too.

Yeah I agree with susila, opening a bank account is easy as 123. You will be required to deposit a minimum amount then a valid identification cards, pictures, and some forms to fill out and that's it. I think you are opening a checking account which would require some approval and would take time for it.
